Overview
Closing date: Tuesday 31 March 2020 We are seeking to appoint dynamic and driven individuals to teach on a range of programmes in the Business and Professional Studies Department. The department is undergoing rapid growth and is actively seeking to further develop the curriculum offer. The Merseyside Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has identified a number of key priority development areas, providing the College with the opportunity to significantly expand provision. This will involve the expansion of existing courses and the development of new curriculum. Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, with the ability to teach CIPS programmes at Levels 3 to 6 a distinct advantage. We would also welcome candidates with a wealth of experience in industry. The successful candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of their subject area; be able to demonstrate a passion for learning. You will also be an excellent team player who can quickly establish productive relationships with learners and fellow lecturers and must be an outstanding communicator at all levels. In addition, we have a growing provision of CIPs apprentices. If you have relevant experience of assessing CIPs qualifications at Level 4 and above, we would also like to hear from you. The successful candidate must: Be a current member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPs). hold the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) or Certificate in Education Post 16 (Candidates who do not hold a relevant teaching qualification will be expected to achieve within a set period from the date of appointment) have excellent communication and presentation skills, and a high degree of personal motivation and commitment We reserve the right to close this vacancy when we are in receipt of sufficient applications.
