Overview
Activate Learning is a forward-thinking, successful education group whose mission is to provide opportunities for learning with a focus on students gaining the skills they need to progress on to employment or further study, transforming lives through our learning philosophy. We are looking to recruit a highly organised, solution-focused HE Student Experience Officer to join our higher education team. You will support the development of the student experience in collaboration with the student body across each of our 7 campuses, from Guildford up to Banbury. This is not about delivering a standard approach as you will play a key role in establishing a unique student experience at each campus and deliver our enhancement strategy. You will have the opportunity to work with HE student representatives, developing HE Student Ambassadors, to ensure that the HE student voice is heard and acted upon. Previous experience of this type of work is not essential as more important is a passion for working with colleagues and HE students to create a positive and vibrant HE community. You will be a self-starter making sure that the student voice is heard who is highly organised and methodical, as well as an excellent communicator and have a strong team-work ethos. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively. Travel to alternative campuses will be expected and will be essential in delivering our higher education agenda. This is a full-time post although flexible working requests will be positively considered. Whilst this post is shown as based in Reading it could be based either at Reading, Oxford, Guildford or Merrist Wood although there will be a requirement to travel to the other campuses on a regular basis.
