UK CAR Account Director
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. Your new your new job working as an Account Director, with your main focus being on UK Construction risks, means you will be responsible for developing New Business from existing and prospective clients, generating new business opportunities through the promotion of cooperation and communication within the company. You will also be gathering and analysing Insurance Information, liaising with clients, possible clients and markets to collect and collate underwriting information and prepare market / underwriting submissions. Service Clients and maintain their Insurance programmes to meet their needs, identify and provide consultancy and insurance services and develop new products and coverages, manage the production of market documentation including final evidence of cover, invoices, policies, endorsements, client reports, registers, manuals and claims procedure and manage the collection of premiums/fees. Other duties will include maintaining relationships with insurers and re-insurers to ensure satisfactory service levels are achieved. Your previous experience within a similar position with significant experience working within the Construction/ Engineering Insurance Broking Industry will contribute to success in securing this position. You will have practical working experience with the following key insurance products: Construction “All Risks”, Public Liability / Third Party Liability, Delay In Start-Up / Completion, Latent / Inherent Defects or Residential Warranties. You will also have some knowledge of or familiarity with one or more of the following insurance products: Marine Transit and Marine Consequential Loss, Property and Business Interruption, Professional Indemnity, Directors& Officers and/or Contractors Pollution Liability and Environmental Impairment Liability. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and you will have the ability to be a team player and work on your own initiative.
