Area Sales Manager - Building Products Job Title: Business Development Manager - Structural Waterproofing Industry Sector: National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Builders Merchants, Merchants, Buying Groups. Structural Waterproofing, Below Ground Waterproofing, Gas Protection, Remedial Services, Specialist Chemicals, Damp Waterproofing, Preservation Services, Structural Repair, Damp Proof Contractors, Structural Waterproofing Area to be covered: B, BA, BH, BS, CF, CV, DT, DY, EX, GL, HR, JE, LD, LN, NP, OX, PL, RG, SA, SN, SO, SP, TA, TQ, TR, WR Remuneration: £35,000-£45,000 (depending on experience) 10-30% bonus Benefits: Passat / BMW type car & benefits packages The role of the Business Development Manager - Structural Waterproofing will involve: Field sales position, selling a large portfolio of manufactured below ground waterproofing systems, damp waterproofing products, gas protection systems, water management and drainage products such as: cavity tray units, waterproofing membranes, adhesives All of your time will be spent selling directly to national & independent builders merchants & buying groups such as: Jewsons, SIG, MKM, Encon, Miers, EH Smith Inheriting a territory currently turning over circa £8m Majority of your time will be spent account managing key national & independent merchant accounts, however you will be expected to bring in a small portion of new business Working closely with the technical support team and specification sales manager The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Structural Waterproofing with: Must have a proven tracking record selling into to national & independent builders merchants OR buying groups Ideally with the likes of Jewsons, Travis Perkins, SIG, MKM, Encon, Miers, EH Smith, Precon, Grafton etc Will consider any building products background such as: timber, insulation, roofing systems, drainage products, joinery, plumbing & heating, sanitary-ware, insulation Ideally have experience in below ground waterproofing systems, damp waterproofing products, gas protection systems, water management and drainage products such as: cavity tray units, waterproofing membranes, adhesives (not essential) Track record of stability within your career and looking for stability and longevity Organised, hungry, hardworking and not a 9-5 field sales representative Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Builders Merchants, Merchants, Buying Groups.
