Trainee Specification Sales Manager - Roofing / Waterproofing Systems Job Title: Trainee Specification Sales Manager - Roofing / Waterproofing Systems Industry Sector: Roofing, Waterproofing, Single Ply, Green Roofing, Roofing Systems, Bituminous waterproofing, Architects, Main Contractors, End Users, Developers, Surveyors, Local Authorities, Independent Merchants, Building Envelope, Architectural Degree, Trainee Sales Manager, Specification Manager Area to be covered: North London Remuneration: £30,000 uncapped commission giving OTE £45,000 Benefits: VW Golf & comprehensive benefits package The role of the Trainee Specification Sales Manager - Roofing / Waterproofing Systems will involve: Specification field sales position, selling a large comprehensive range of roofing & waterproofing systems such as green roofs, single ply, rooflights, structural waterproofing, waterproofing membranes and cold liquid applied roofing The majority of your time will be focused on generating specifications via architects, specifiers and surveyors The remaining portion of your time will be spent protecting your specifications / selling direct to through via main contractors and roofing contractors Dealing with order values ranging from £2k - £1m with a typical order of £100 - £200k Once up and running will be required to build the territory up to circa £1m Targeting both commercial and residential market sectors new build and refurbishment projects Most of your time will be spent generating new business relationships from incoming warm enquiries Initially shadowing and working alongside the regional technical sales manager learning specification / sales skills alongside picking up product knowledge The ideal applicant will be a Trainee Specification Sales Manager - Roofing / Waterproofing Systems with: Must have a related degree course in architecture, quantity surveyor, construction, design, building services or related qualification OR you have just completed a graduate training scheme within the construction industry looking to get into a field based technical sales role Would consider a more experienced individual with the related background and route to market (for this would pay up to £40,000) Must be able to read architectural drawings Must have a strong technical mind set i.e. capable of selling on a technical solution and product Excellent attributes to be successful in sales - excellent communication skills, personable and likeable character Ambitious, hungry and loyal Articulate, intelligent and self motivated Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Roofing, Waterproofing, Single Ply, Green Roofing, Roofing Systems, Bituminous waterproofing, Architects, Main Contractors, End Users, Developers, Surveyors, Local Authorities, Independent Merchants, Building Envelope
