Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Plan and manage regional IT infrastructure and end user IT equipment, including cost effective procurement, installation and maintenance Act as Technology Group ambassador and strategically push forth technological solutions/policies which is impactful to regional offices Coordinate with HQ in rolling out and change management of new or existing IT application Engage and advise regional stakeholders in all IT matters, including IT security Management of regional IT CAPEX and OPEX Ensure DR readiness of IT infrastructure and business continuity management Supervise a small team in London AWS setup and administration Networking appliances such as switches, routers, firewall, VPN and proxy End User Experience Useful Experience: Windows/Unix server administration Virtual Infrastructure administration (VMWare) Backup technologies such as Symantec Netbackup IT security appliances Communications and telephony administration Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as a part of global collaborative team. Ability to work after-hours, as needed Ability to reprioritize tasks. Actively contribute to major projects. Collaborate with other teams when required to resolve complex problems. Strong skills in analysing system logs to identify potential issues. Recommend improvements to technology and process. Contribute ideas, solutions and documentation to improve knowledge base of the IT team. Desire to learn new technologies and compare/analyse/test/implement IT solutions
