Overview
The Role: The Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting the Sales department through pipeline generation. This includes qualification of inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a rapidly growing cloud technology company. Responsibilities: Proactively calling into accounts in order to generate appointments for the sales team for the Spanish region Qualification and nurture of inbound leads through to appointment stage The candidate will also be expected to research prospective companies to obtain contact details and other basic profile information Follow-up on specific marketing campaigns Overcome objections and effectively communicate value propositions to key decision makers Collate information on prospective clients, even when an appointment is not obtained Maintain strong relationships by working closely with sales team Operates under supervision with frequent reviews of work Log all calls in CRM (Salesforce.com) and monitors success rates The Candidate: Fluent in Spanish and English Intelligent and able to assimilate information quickly Professional phone manner with a consultative approach Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks Confident in overcoming rejection and setting challenging goals on a daily basis Displays passion for & responsibility to the customer
