Overview
PURPOSE OF ROLE We require a focused and experienced business development professional with a hunger to self-develop within our company. Responsibilities shall include delivering every project on time within budget and scope. Candidates should have an educational background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. This is a diverse role across numerous business sectors and requires a great degree of flexibility with regards to approach and execution of tasks. You will be expected to be self-motivated and able to work both individually and as part of our management team Our focus is on business development and interim management across the globe with the focused specialism on developing business links with China. RESPONSIBILITY • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility • Ensure resource availability and allocation • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques • Report and escalate to management as needed • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders • Perform risk management to minimize project risks PRINCIPAL DUTIES • Extensive client management, with ownership of our mandarin speaking business partners . • liaises with other senior staff to determine the range of goods or services to be sold, contributes to the development of sales strategies and setting of sales targets; ?• discusses employer’s or client’s requirements, carries out surveys and analyses customers’ reactions to product, packaging, price, etc.; ?• compiles and analyses sales figures, prepares proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities and undertakes market research; ?• handles customer accounts;?• recruits and trains junior sales staff;?• produces reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management; ?• keeps up to date with products and competitors. REQUIREMENTS • Excellent spoken and written Mandarin. • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of business management or delivery • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in food & beverage service development • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superb organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills •Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related projects
