Business Development Manager - Financial Compliance & Risk 50k Base, 100k OTE Great Benefits London, WC1 As a leading supplier of data, software and content, our client helps organisations of every size mitigate and manage financial risk, optimise compliance and deliver banking due diligence. Through deep expertise and industry-leading data-enabled solutions; they work across multiple sectors and have developed an enviable and highly recognisable account base. Due to internal movements, they now have a rare and exciting opening for a Business Development Manager to join a small team focused on selling EMEA wide. As a London based, Business Development Manager, you will: Work in a new business capacity with a strong focus on the insurance sector Identify new business revenue through prospect mapping, referral generation and traditional cold calling methods Deliver in-person and WebEx based demos of our client's fully interactive suite of products Win and manage accounts (80% new business - 20% account management Work with 5 & 6 figured order values Manage sales cycles varying in length from 6-18 months Generally, target C-Level executives in compliance and sanctions Applications are invited from those candidates with: A minimum of 3 years sales experience ideally gained selling Information, risk, compliance, software or SaaS-based solutions Solid subscription-based sales experience Sound experience selling largely at senior levels Proven stakeholder management skills First-class communication and presentation skills High levels of motivation and the ability to manage your own diary A hunter approach who can deliver sufficient cold call activity to ensure the business pipeline remains sufficient to achieve and exceed targets The successful candidate will be offered a package including a base salary of 50k, with a realistic and uncapped first year OTE of 100k. Additionally, there is a full and generous benefits package available, which includes a pension, life insurance, SAYE and multiple schemes and incentives.
