Area Sales Manager - Protection Systems Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Protection Systems Industry Sector: Protection Barriers, Rack Protections, Door Protection, Rack Systems, Bollard Protection, Segregation Systems, Segregation Units, Guard Rails, Bollards, Hand Rails, Floor Rails, Industrial Doors, High Speed Doors, Shutters, Railings, Balustrades, Wall Protection, Bumpers, Contractors, Architects, End Users Area to be covered: M4 Corridor OR West England up to Manchester Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 £5,000 - £20,000 commission Benefits: £665 car allowance full benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Protection Systems will involve: Technical field sales position, selling a high quality range of bespoke manufactured protection systems for example: protection barriers, rack / door / bollard protection, hand / floor / guard rails and segregation systems 50% of your time will be spent selling to / generating specifications directly with large end users such as: Amazon, Tesco, Morrison, Landover, BMW and many more The remaining 50% of your time will be spent generating specification with architects and through this through / protecting them through main contractors Targeted with achieving around £800 - £1m turnover per annum Dealing with order values ranging from around £5k-500k depending on project sizes Majority of your time will be spent generating new business Dealing with incoming leads / enquiries seeing projects through quotations to completion with the companies installation team You will work alongside a great internal sales team and sales manager to generate leads and strategically Covering a territory which will either be alongside the M4 corridor OR West England (Manchester to Bristol including South Wales) The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Protection Systems with: Must have experience selling to / generating specifications directly with large end users such as: Amazon, Tesco, Morrison, Landover, BMW OR dealing with architects and following it through to the main contractors Must have experience selling a technical related product such as protection barriers, rack / door / bollard protection, hand / floor / guard rails, industrial doors, rollers, balustrades, bumpers, rails and segregation systems Would consider other technical product backgrounds Must be able to generate new business relationships Must be driven, tenacious and ambitious Experience in solution based sales on quality not price Self-motivated with good time management / organisational skills Genuine 'get up and go’ work ethic Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Protection Barriers, Rack Protections, Door Protection, Rack Systems, Bollard Protection, Segregation Systems, Segregation Units, Guard Rails, Bollards, Hand Rails, Floor Rails, Industrial Doors, High Speed Doors, Shutters, Railings, Balustrades, Wall Protection, Bumpers, Contractors, Architects, End Users
