Development & Alumni Directorate Database Officer QMUL21729    Queen Mary University of London’s Directorate of Development and Alumni Engagement (DDAE) is looking for an experienced Database Officer to deliver high-quality data in support of its rapidly growing stakeholder engagement activities.    Queen Mary is one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities, a member of the Russell Group, and ranked within the top 120 universities in the world. Based in East London, a short distance from the City and Canary Wharf, its international reputation is grounded by a strong commitment to the local community.    DDAE manages data for over 220,000 contacts, including alumni, companies, Trusts and Foundations, and major donors of all kinds. The Database Officer will assist the Operations Manager in maintaining DDAE’s database, thankQ CRM, and facilitating access to it across the wider university. Familiarity with thankQ is not a requirement, but knowledge of a similar CRM in use within the Higher Education or Charity sectors, e.g. Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce, is essential.    The post is full time and permanent starting as soon as possible. Salary will be £27,742 per annum inclusive of London allowance and will increment each year until the top of the grade is reached.  Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and an interest-free season ticket loan.    Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
