Lecturer in Fabrication & Welding (0.6) Job Ref: AS 1167 Salary up to £29,449 per annum, pro rata depending on qualifications and experience plus £1,000 Shortage Skills Allowance per annum, pro rata 22 hours per week Have you considered teaching your skills to the next generation of Construction and Engineering trades’ specialists? We have a vacancy in our state of the art Construction Centre at Lancaster & Morecambe College: Working in a supportive team, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry with an in-depth knowledge of all types of fabrication, welding and sheet metalwork. No prior teaching experience or qualification is required; we offer a comprehensive in-house training package including teaching qualification and assessor qualification. We would expect you to have a keen interest in the development of young people entering the profession and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and teaching potential.
