Overview

This position is for someone with a background in financial analysis and management accounting. The role is initially for 3-4 months to help with the year end. Client Details The client is a well established housing association in London. They are seeking a finance analyst to join their team on an interim basis over the next 3-4 months to assist with year end. Description The key responsibilities of the finance analyst position will be to; Analyse financial data to pick out meaningful information Deliver all balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner Assist with other adhoc year-end projects as finance manager allocates. Assist with the year end audit. Provide timely identification of budget overspends Ensure customer satisfaction displayed through robust relationships with budget holders. Profile The successful Finance Analyst will meet the following criteria. You will have experience in Financial and Management accounting, the year end audit process, the year-end financial close-down and associated reporting requirements. It is essential that you are able to carry out the completion of balance sheet reconciliations. You will have strong spreadsheet skills (Excel) and proficient knowledge of accounting software (particularly Sun Accounts). You will have the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts/statistics to finance and non-finance staff. You will have the ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines and targets. You will have excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation.
