Accrington Full-time, Permanent Branch Manager vacancy in Accrington A great opportunity has arisen for someone who can lead by example and head up their own branch in Accrington. Our fast growing, highly successful chain of Holland House Electrical branches needs talented, driven, focused individuals to run our ever expanding branch network. It's really important to meet and exceed our customers' expectations in terms of the efficiency of the service that we provide, so your role includes: Effectively managing the branch's P&L account to meet financial targets. Actively increasing sales, customer numbers and creating opportunities for new, lapsed and existing customers Responsibility for directing purchases for the branch through the company's ANEW suppliers and ensuring invoices are checked, signed and sent to Head Office to qualify for settlement discount. Responsibility for the security of the goods in the company's Warehouse and ensuring that they are stored and maintained in good saleable condition. Effectively managing the working capital of the branch. Supervising and Motivating your team and leading by example Ability to make competent commercial decisions within a fast moving environment What you need; You will possess an extensive knowledge and network of electrical suppliers and contractors and managing high profile customer accounts for both new and existing business. You will need comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wholesale and distribution of electrical products in all areas including cables, wiring accessories, lighting, lamps, energy management, safety and security. Exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relations will be second nature to you.
