Supervisor FTSE 100 Packaging Major Columbia, South Carolina $60k-70k per annum Contact Calvin, c.newmanbramwithconsulting.com This FTSE 100 Packaging Major is seeking a Supervisor to manage departments (including converting and/or corrugator) within one of their most profitable plants in the US in Columbia, South Carolina. The organization, with over 20,000 employees across the globe, is a FTSE 100 packaging major with a number of global projects across North America, Europe and the Middle-East. You will report into the Plant Superintendent and have a close working relationship with other Senior Stakeholders including the Operations Director, Plant Manager and the Director of Operations. Your responsibility will be to ensure the profitability and growth of your departments while directly managing up to 10 employees. Role You will be based out of one of the organizations most profitable sites in Columbia, South Carolina, and be working for an established FTSE 100 company within the Paper and Packaging space. You will report into the Plant Superintendent and managing the activities of your department while directly managing up to 10 direct employees. As the Supervisor, you will: Head up your specific department (either Converting or Corrugated) at on of the organizations most profitable sites across North America Manage a team of up to 10 direct employees within the organizations Columbia, SC facility Work with your team and the senior stakeholders within the organization to manage specific KPIs across your department including Health & Safety, Operations, Maintenance, Inventory and Continuous Improvement Use your skills to support the plants major improvements including process improvement, raw material utilization and loss eliminations Key Skills you Possess: Key experience working within the Converting or Corrugated department within a packaging facility Ability to think outside the box and strive for continuous improvement across your department The ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Technology, Processes, etc.) This is a great opportunity for you to step up and join an industry leading and growing organization, working with a driven and motivational team.
