Exciting National Account Manager opportunity being accountable for the commercial trading relationship with their current and new retail accounts. Client Details Our client is a leading fresh food business, selling to a wide range of customers, major retail, wholesale, foodservice and local farm shops. They offer a fantastic offering of speciality products but also offer economies of scale from their parent company. Award winning quality products, they can offer flexible products and packaging solutions from their UK site. Description The exciting role is being accountable for the commercial trading relationship with their current and new retail accounts. Key responsibilities: Manage the delivery and execution of business strategy to increase volume and new products Identify new profitable opportunities and develop them from introduction, execution and follow through Prepare account joint business plans in line with the company's strategic plans and guidelines Implement promotional activities to achieve ROI and monitor effectiveness Work well internally with the Product Development Team on own / private label for NPD projects Liaise with the Operations Team to ensure smooth customer supplier service levels are met Ensure forecasts are accurate, whilst keeping waste levels below required threshold Profile The successful candidate will have the following: Experience working in a large blue chip FMCG company Worked as a National Account Executive / Account Manager Excellent commercial experience, with strong processes and structure Work in a fast-paced environment, servicing multiple stakeholders at head office level Experience in designing and delivering joint business plans High attention to detail and relationship management Track record of managing P&L responsibility Able to deliver accurate forecasts and reports Degree qualified If you're a National Account Executive this could be a great opportunity to step up into National Account Manager position, with the ability to make your own senior commercial decisions.
