You will be working for a Fortune 500 company that has expanded into the SME on-grid gas supply sector, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of commercial bulk sales , and margin management, you will also be implementing National Sales policies and be accountable for the growth and profitability of new and existing accounts So, if you are used to working to targets based on performance and experienced in development of Sales and Margin management- apply for the Area Sales Manager role today Key responsibilities: Work within delegated authorities and local sales strategies Achieve agreed targets, i.e. volumes, revenue, gross margin, new gains, losses, Profit Monitor and administration of designated accounts in liaison with Customer Services Organise and implement Sales and Marketing initiatives Continuously monitor prices, policies and contracts for customers Develop account roster calls as agreed with B2B Sales Manager Monitoring competitor activity Develop and build relationships with support functions Operate within delegated authorities for financial and commercial decisions Select best method of increasing profitability and prospects Monitor and resolve customer queries Skills and experience required: Ability to build a network of business contacts to enable target achievement Profitable sales skills, negotiation skills and "closing" skills at senior level Technical mindset Excellent communication skills Stakeholder Management Time and priority management skills Strong organisational skills IT Literate Good level of General Education, articulate and numerate Full driving licence
