Overview
Our client is a major national housebuilder operating across the UK. They require a Commercial Director to develop an existing, high profile large region. The Role The Commercial Director will report to the Managing Director with broad commercial and senior management responsibility leading the buying, surveying and cost functions. You will be responsible for a team of commercial managers each responsible for separate projects. You will assess pre start budgets and you will be tasked with delivering 500 units per year to stringent cost controls and high customer satisfaction levels. Key Skills and Qualifications: You will be degree educated, ideally with MRICS qualifications, with a successful track record of commercial leadership with a housebuilder, developer or contractor. You will be a decisive leader able to motivate and develop the internal team whilst working closely and communicating clearly with all levels from clients to sub-contractors.
