All internal and external applicants will enjoy the same assessment process so please apply before our closing date of April 9th KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE: We are looking for a highly motivated National Sales Manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role is an exciting 'hands on’ position that will require the Manager to develop the current National Business Development team in the areas of contract cleaning and manned guarding. The National Sales Manager will be pro-active, knowledgeable and have a proven track record in managing a team. Target 12 million with a team of BDM’s Expected client deals are an average £100,000 with contracts values from £25000 to £2million per annum. There will be close support and resource available from the tender and bid team and Senior Management. Responsibilities: Managing a team of national BDM’s Ensuring the right activity (KPI’s) are being met Setting very clear methodology and planning that is easily understood Meeting set budgets by developing sales strategies and setting targets Compiling and analysing sales figures Accurately report key information to the Sales and Marketing Director Conduct 1-2-1 performance reviews to identify development needs Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets Field visibility by way of side by side coaching and training Pre-requisites: You can clearly demonstrate you have achieved budget success managing a national new business team Show clear method and plan in similar roles; and similar environments ensuring the team are targeting the most relevant sectors, contacts and revenue streams An exceptional team player with experience of working with stakeholders across different business areas Ability to demonstrate in a structured and processed way the ability to mentor and train a highly effect team Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Person Specification - To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to display the following skills: Understanding on how to construct team and individual strategy to win large contract / project wins that will meet / exceed budgets Identify revenue projection gaps early / ability to implement effective "catch up" plans Strong understanding people manager and effective use of individual SMART goals.
