Overview
Opportunity to join a fast growing fintech business in Central London as a Finance Business partner, working in a team of two. New role created due to company growth. Client Details Fast growing FinTech / Financial Services business with offices based in Central London. Description The Business Partner role sits within the Finance team and is responsible for providing reliable financial analysis and building trusting relationships and advice on business decisions. As a result of the company's rapid growth, they are now facing enhanced complexity resulting from providing multiple products to customers, more sophisticated debt structures and more complicated team structures. Reporting to the Business Partnering Manager, you will establish the function; on the one hand to respond to and pre empting changes in the business and on the other providing value adding and flexible financial models to the rest of the business. Most of your assignments will be project based. You will be given a scope and a timeline to deliver. You will also be encouraged to be creative in problem solving and seek improvements where you can; About half of your time will be dedicated to business analytics, which includes improving the quality of data, advanced financial analysis and financial modelling. You will have the chance to make a difference in data infrastructure; This will include significant contribution to the annual budget process; The other half will be structuring processes and communicating to other teams. We want to follow business updates closely at strategy and operational levels, as well as influence decision making based on our analysis; and There will also be ad-hoc tasks related to a variety of reporting going out from the Finance team, such as reporting to the Board, Strategy team and investors. Profile Self-driven finance professional to solve problems that have not been solved before Proven experience in financial management consulting, valuation, auditing or FP&A function; Experience in or familiarity with the financial services industry is preferable; Excellent Excel with strong financial modelling experience. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Partially qualified / finalist (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent. Job Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
