Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a senior accountant to join the finance team for a prestigious property SME based in central London. Client Details My client is a prestigious property SME based in central London. Description The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following: Producing financial statements for several entities Responsible for reviewing monthly accounts prepared by management accountants Ensuring month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations and performance reports are produced on time Ensuring internal and external queries are addressed and resolved promptly, attending meetings where necessary Involved in budgeting and offering support to the property management team Responsible for quarterly VAT return submission Producing cashflow statement Responsible for financial data migration Responsible for internal and external audit process Assisting in tax matters such corporation tax Implementing new accounting procedures and processes Providing oversight and support to the accounts team Providing training to junior accountant when necessary Producing ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed Profile Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience Good knowledge of FRS 102 Previous Real Estate and/or Property and housing experience is desirable Line management experience not essential but desirable Sage 50 experience Excel skills (V lookup and Pivot table) Job Offer The successful Senior Accountant will receive a basic salary of up to £60,000 benefits.
