Overview
Investment Analyst, Manager Selection Would you like to work within the BAE Systems Pensions Funds Investment Management Team? We currently have a vacancy for an Investment Analyst, Manager Selection at our site in Burwood House - Greater London. As an Investment Analyst, Manager Selection, you will support the manager of external funds in the oversight and selection of investment managers appointed by the pension scheme's trustees to manage investment portfolios on their behalf. This role will provide you with the opportunity to join a talented and professional front office team working for our leading investment management company. Your main responsibilities as an Investment Analyst, Manager Selection will involve: Portfolio analysis and oversight of external manager investment portfolios Developing and maintaining framework for external manager oversight Assisting lead in manager meetings, pre meeting research and post meeting follow ups Monitoring relevant industry, regulatory and legal developments Supporting lead on operational issues arising from external managers Due diligence on legal agreements and fund documentation, with support from external counsel Writing reports and presentations to pension fund trustees Supporting lead on manager searches, RFP's, manager due diligence, manager take-ons and transitions Researching of investment markets and asset classes Supporting in maintenance and management of key operating system interfaces (including custodian, Bloomberg, peer group databases) Your skills and qualifications: Advanced MS Office and Excel capability Previous experience working in a fund/investment analytical role What we're looking for in you: You will need to be numerate, inquisitive, an independent thinker and versatile (developing a core understanding of multiple disciplines and their interaction).
