Developer Digital Services, Portfolio Section Grade: PO4 - PO5 About the role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join the Data and Development team in Haringey Council's Digital Services. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the development of software, either individually for smaller system changes or with colleagues on medium to large/complex systems, depending on experience. You will produce detailed designs from supplied specifications using agreed methods and tools to develop well engineered products, consistent with the Digital Service Standard and documented accordingly. About you You are experienced in working across the full software development lifecycle from design through to testing. You can demonstrate a good understanding of current developments in the application of Information Systems. Ideally you'll have experience of development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or PHP as well as developing websites in WordPress and/or Drupal. You will have good communication and organisational skills and be able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and perspectives in different business contexts.You are skilled in applying proven methods for structured and open applications development and able to assimilate and interpret advice from specialists - technical or otherwise. Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques and automated software development tools will be advantageous.
