Our service is designed to support women to achieve their goals and objectives so they can move down the care pathway towards independent living. Phoenix House is a specialist mental health rehabilitation service for women designed to support Service Users in achieving their goals and enables progress through their care pathway towards independent living. Our model of care is supported by a full multidisciplinary team which includes a Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. Our empathetic and understanding approach facilitates positive change and empowerment for women who may have a history of trauma, abuse, hearing voices, as well as those with on-going challenging behaviour. Model of care Our goal is to improve and develop a Service User’s confidence, abilities and potential, in order for them to manage the demands and enjoy the benefits of independent living. Objectives are defined by the Service User in ongoing assessments and are delivered in a safe and collaborative environment. Our approach is supported by therapies and practical inter-personal support. These are offered in either group or individual settings and include occupational therapy, individual psychology work and regular reviews with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry to ensure optimum progress and medication management.
