Area Sales Manager - Valves & Controls Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Valves & Controls / Building Services Industry Sector: Valves, Controls, Building Services, HVAC, M&E, Plumbing & Heating, M&E Contractors, M&E Consultants, HVAC Contractors, Plumbing & Heating Contractors, M&E Consultants, Building Services Consultants, Consulting Engineers, Building Services Contractors and Plumbing & Heating Merchants Area to be covered: South West & South Wales Postcode: BA, BS, CF, DT, EX, GL, NP, PL, SA, SN, TA, TQ, TR Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 (depending on experience) 1.25% commission of all sales Benefits: VW Passat & full benefits package The role of Area Sales Manager - Valves & Controls / Building Services will involve: Technical field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of valves, hydronics & controls, heating and cooling systems for the building services industry The majority of your time will be spent generating specifications with M&E consultants, consulting engineers, local authorities and other specifiers The remaining portion of your time will be focused on selling directly to M&E contractors, HVAC contractors, mechanical contractors OR plumbing and building services contractors There will be an element of selling via the distribution channels via plumbing & heating merchants and stockist Project would include hospitals, schools, health centres, housing associations, commercial and large public buildings Inheriting a well-established territory currently turning £800k Dealing with order values between £5k-£500k depending on projects sizes Working closely with MD and National Sales Manager The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Valves & Controls / Building Services with: Must have technical field sales experience selling into M&E consultants, consulting engineers OR M&E contractors, HVAC contractors or building services contractors Must have experience selling a technical related HVAC product such as: valves, control, cooling & heating sustems, heat exchangers, HIU’s , piping, boilers and pumps Ideally have building services / HVAC construction industry contacts Must be a team player and have the ability and personality to integrate into a team working environment Passionate, determined and tenacity Business acumen and negotiating skills Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within: HVAC, M&E, thermostatic control products, pipes manifolds, fittings, pumps, boilers, calorifier, heat exchanges, boiler, HIU’s (heat interface units), valves, safety valve, compression fitting, couplings, repair clamps, regulators, ball valves, gas controls, strainers, backflow preventers, boilers, plumbing, insulation, heating and all other associated M&E building services solutions.
