Overview

Our client, an award winning B2B foodtech company, are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help the company develop new business as well as look after existing accounts. You will be focused on selling into the education and healthcare sector so previous experience in this market would be advantageous. Please note this is a field and office based role. You will be meeting with clients face to face at least 2/3 days a week. Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager role Prospect and identify potential opportunities as well as qualifying potential clients and scheduling appointments Presenting to prospective clients and explaining products and services Closing sales and overcoming objections Account management Experience required At least 3 years consultative selling experience, ideally selling into the education/ healthcare sector Excellent communication and negotiation skills Self motivated and proactive Why you'll love this job The opportunity to work for an exciting foodtech start-up A great base salary of up to £40K, OTE £60K A field/ office based role with a lot of autonomy where you can manage your own day and diary
