Graduate Recruitment Consultant : FinTech Basic Salary: 25k plus uncapped commission (On Target Earnings average at around £40k in year 1) - Basic salary increases to £28k after first promotion at around the 6 month mark, propelling your second-year earnings massively to around the £50-60k mark when commission is accounted for. Sector: Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, Full Stack Engineering, iOS & Android, Big Data, Infrastructure & Site Reliability Location: Shoreditch Start-Date : Flexible My client, a global front-runner in the financial technology recruitment sector are seeking 10 fresh graduates to join their 'Graduate Training Academy’. Their tried and tested approach to hiring entry-level recruitment consultants has seen nothing but success, with previous ambitious grads going on to be company top-billers and help break company records. This exciting fintech consultancy are working with companies in hyper-growth stages, connecting them with the best talent in the market. You will be responsible for strategically finding people with the skills required to build a successful FinTech company. The opportunity: Coming into the business at this point, will offer you limitless progression from day 1. Initially starting as a resourcer, you will be given the training and development opportunities to become a 360 consultant at months 3-6. At the 1-year mark you can progress into a management position, taking on a resourcer to work alongside you and start developing your team. Training for this position will be consistent throughout the course of your employment. Your first week within the business will be predominately shadowing; seeing how the role is done and learning about the business. As you progress, you’ll continuously be mentored on a 121 basis by the management to ensure you’re always developing. However, there are a few things my client can’t teach, so we’re looking for people who already possess the following Educated to a degree level or equivalent (Ideally a 2.1 from a top-rated UK University) Impeccable spoken English Exceptional communication skills - Verbal & written Determination and grit - Someone who doesn’t just give up after the first failure Keen involvement in extra curriculars (Whether its sports, music, dance or art - We want diversity and passion in our office) Strong work ethic - This isn’t your standard 9-5 so for maximum reward we require maximum effort Social intelligence - Your role will vary massively in terms of the type of candidate/client you are in contact with at one given time, self-awareness and an approachable manor is huge You will be trained on client and candidate prospecting, client and candidate management, closing, negotiating and various other aspects of a recruitment role through a structured and tested training programme delivered over the initial onboarding stage. Continuous internal and external training will be provided throughout your tenure at the business. Although this is a very niche industry, we have on-boarded successful people from various degree subjects including Economics, Law, Science and many more. We don’t expect you to have any prior knowledge about this specific sector, my client can provide the best platform and training for you to become an expert.
