REF: DW1469 LOCATION: Wigan, Lancashire JOB TITLE: Casual Funeral Service Operative SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive rates of pay WORKING HOURS: Casual / Flexible contracts available THE COMPANY: Are you looking for Casual or Part Time hours? Our client is looking for a casual Funeral Service Operative to join their existing team based in Wigan, Lancashire. This is a Casual role where you will be required during the businesses busy periods so would be great for someone looking for casual or flexible working patterns . As a Funeral Service Operative you will be working in a wide and varied role being an integral part of the business. Duties will range but will include, bearing on funerals, driving company vehicles showing care and respect to the deceased and their families. The position will include occasional out of hour duties on a shared rota basis. THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Funeral Service Operative role will need to be a reliable and mature person who has a valid UK Driving Licence and has experience and will need to be comfortable working with and around the decaesed. In addition, candidates will need to be able to take a flexible approach to working hours and will need to be able to work as part of an on call shared rota, and will also need to live close by and be able to commute to Wigan. Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Funeral Service Operative role :- Reliable and mature individual's Must have a valid UK Driving Licence Will need to be comfortable working around the deceased Will need to be able to commute to Wigan, Lancashire Although not essential, previous experience in the Funeral, Memorial or Cemetery industry would be beneficial Does this sound like you?
