Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Engineering & Technology Based in Central Reading, Berkshire Salary from £18K-£22K Uncapped Commission Benefits Our client is successful independent Engineering & Technology Recruitment Consultancy, they work with clients from across the globe supporting them to hire great contract and permanent talent into their business. All trainees are trained to become full 360 recruitment consultants, meaning you will become an expert at winning, identifying & delivering talent to new clients. The job As a recruitment consultant, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is fast paced and diverse. You will be trained, mentored and supported to achieve the following: using telephone sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to secure new business from companies meet clients, build and develop positive relationships and understand more about their company write and advertising job vacancies on social media, job boards, website etc using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build a community in your chosen field proactive headhunting to identify key candidates who may already be in work using candidate databases to identify great people for your client's job reviewing job applications received, managing interviews, tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for clients reference checking / credit checking briefing the candidate about the job & company preparing CVs and emails for clients organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client preparing candidates & clients for the interview provide candidates with interview feedback negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising the contract between clients and candidates sharing your market expertise, provide industry insight around salaries, recruitment, processes etc working towards and exceeding targets and agreed KPI’s work within timelines, company procedures and be a collaborative team member The person Extremely well presented with excellent communication skills (written & spoken) First class customer service skills Competitive individual who is driven to hit goals and generate revenue Previous sales or account management experience would be advantageous (media, events, sales etc) Graduate or graduate calibre Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong commercial business acumen A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career in recruitment A winning mentality The ability to overcome objection and be persistent Strong IT skills If you have some of the above and feel that you might have what it takes to work in a telephone based, highly competitive environment, this could be the role for you.
