Brompton Bike Hire have created a new role within the organisation to respond to the exceptional increase in Business Development enquiries from businesses. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the purpose of the role is to take ownership of all Corporate Business development with special focus on Corporate Memberships and Corporate Pool Bike Schemes. This will include processing new sales leads as necessary, creating reports, creating standard proposals, arranging appointments with clients and attending said appointments as appropriate, acknowledging customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls. You will be responsible for the end to end sales process. As the employee matures in the role, there will be an opportunity to take on increasing areas of the sales channel. A background in Business to Business sales and ideally Corporate memberships would be desirable, but far more important is a passion and tenacity that you bring to the role. The role Leading efforts to establish and retain business growth opportunities. Primarily obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from sales. Main duties and responsibilities Fully owning the Corporate Membership and Company Pool bikes sales channels Finding new clients and promoting sales to them Identifying key accounts Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Following up on client leads Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones Being knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business Selling products and services in person and over the phone Raising the company profile by attending expositions and seminars Suggesting new projects such as product development to tap into new markets Being aware of market trends and competitors Complying with regulations and laws of business development Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business Reporting on the most productive sales professionals Writing reports and analysing relevant business data Presenting findings to the team Promoting a culture of growth through sales across the business Educating team members on best business practices and techniques for increasing effectiveness Desirable Skills Leadership, Education, Charisma, Sales, Communication, Finance, Marketing, Report Writing, Spreadsheets, Problem-Solving, Independence, Teamwork Job Profile Brompton utilises Personal Profile Analysis and Psychometric Assessment during the recruitment process.
