Overview
A superb opportunity has been created for Chartered Building surveyor to join a well established partnership in Croydon, who are expanding due to the influx of project work within the private residential and commercial space. The business employs circa 200 professional staff throughout a network 9 offices situated in the South East. They work with clients ranging from developers, through to occupiers, major retailers, institutions, property owners/managers, providing project and professional advice through commercial, residential, retail and leisure. The building surveying team is led by one partner, supported by one associate, senior building surveyor and 2 APC building surveyors. You will be required to progress and maintain their project portfolio of existing projects and will demonstrate the desire to retain and generate new business, working closely with the other departments to maximise opportunities. You will also deliver professional related services from time to time, whether that be dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, party wall to name a few. We are looking to secure a Chartered Building surveyor who is either looking for greater commercial diet or who already has experience in this field. You would have dealt with projects valuing up to £500,000, acting as contract administrator or project manager with good knowledge of JCT contracts. This role is more project led though will keep you involved with traditional building surveying and will require somebody who is competent in carrying out dilapidations, party wall, surveys and other professional related duties.
