Leisure Operations Manager - Travel Industry This is a wonderful product with a fabulous team who operate mouth watering holidays to mainly long haul destinations; India, Asia, Africa and South America all feature heavily in their long list of destinations. This role oversees the day-to-day running of the department to drive sales and uphold excellent customer service across the team. Leisure Operations Manager - What will I be doing? In addition to managing a dynamic team of Sales and After Sales Consultants, a hands-on approach will be required as an active member of the Sales team, using specialist knowledge of tailor-made travel itineraries to sell and meet targets. You will develop and support the sales and after sales teams Coordination and delivery of all training and be responsible for the knowledge and role growth of Sales and After Sales teams. Streamline workflows across the Sales and Admin departments Occasional weekend/evening work may be required on a fair rota basis Leisure Operations Manager - What experience do I need ? You will be a very experienced Travel Industry professional who has managed sales /customer service teams and worked in a tailor made environment yourself. You will have a real passion for the destinations that are sold and will have been to many of them yourself Ideally you will have a GDS Leisure Operations Manager - Additional Info: You will mainly be working Monday to Friday but occasional weekend work will be necessary.
