Overview
Our client is a major office furniture manufacturer in London. They are looking to employ a Architectural Sales Consultant to increase sales with an allocated number of AD clients. You will be based from the central London showroom. Job Summary: The role of the Architectural Sales Consultant will include: Create and develop relationships within the A&D community Develop a network of key contacts within the practices and other associated companies within the industry Find and manage projects from initial design phase through the procurement process, working with colleagues and their dealers to secure sales and negotiate to achieve the best potential margin for the business Develop a high level of product knowledge and perfect your presentation skills for major client pitches Drive opportunities and provide accurate quotations in a timely manner Use all of the tools at your disposal to promote actively to the practice, including industry events, social interaction and showroom visits Undertake presentations and demonstrations of new and existing products Arrange the delivery and return of demonstration stock items Gather market intelligence and feedback into the business Produce monthly forecasts and keep the database contacts up to date at all times Candidate Profile: Highly motivated and energetic with excellent presentation skills Ideally has existing experience of product promotion and relationship building within a defined customer base Ability to work within and contribute to a team-working environment Demonstrate excellent understanding of the contract furniture market Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure Display a professional attitude to work and maintain a smart business-like dress code at all times Confident and able to clearly communicate with a variety of audiences Package: Basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience) Commission Travel and business expenses
