Overview

The Role: The Account Executive sells and markets the company's line of products and services to prospective new clients through direct or indirect field sales activity. They develop strong relationships with new clients in order to identify and sell the company services which best fit their needs. The Account Executive builds and manages a prospect pipeline from self-generated leads, incoming leads from Marketing, and other sources. The Account Executive closes sales deals and meets or exceeds quota. Duties & Responsibilities Acquire new business through hunting activities Generate prospective customers for new business sales Distribute sales information, business cards, and promotional information to prospective customers Cold call prospective customers. Some prospects may include assigned accounts Identify key decision makers for each prospective customer Schedule and lead face-to-face meetings with prospective customers Discern needs to identify prospective customers' requirements Present information to prospective customers using marketing materials Document results of meetings Follow up with prospective customers within a week of any meeting Build relationships with prospective customers and touch base with them on a regular basis Return customer calls to answer questions and provide information Work in a team environment internal partners to seek information to answer customer questions from various resources (e.g., written documents, field support personnel, sales manager, other sales reps) Write thank you notes to prospective customers summarizing key points of meetings The Candidate: Skills and Competencies Fluent French speaker Ability to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to generate meetings and interest Ability to travel as business needs dictate (up to 25%) Consultative communication skills to sell solutions to help customers. Meet and exceed business requirements Desire to continuously learn as new product versions become available Effective relationship building skills with internal departments Excellent verbal skills Knowledge and demonstrated ability to sell using a long term sales cycle and strategic approach. Requires patience, persistence and follow through building customer relationships on longer term opportunities
