Overview
Are you searching for a diverse role where you can apply your Parts knowledge and excellent mentoring skills? As an area Parts Manager You will be responsible for the control, sourcing and supply of vehicle parts to both internal and external customers to achieve parts profit and volume objectives. You will be equally confident dealing with customers on the front counter as well as working behind the scenes making sure the right parts go out to the technicians on time. As an Area Parts Manager, you will be covering a total of 9 sites including both of our Jaguar and Land Rover Brands. Travel will be required to be between the locations of Hatfied, Barnet, Brentwood, Swindon and Woodford. You will be responsible for overseeing the Parts Departments and staff across all sites. Through the financial management of stock, ensuring delivery shortages are claimed for and highlighting obsolete stock you will ensure that customers' expectations are met every time. You will be responsible for ensuring that all pricing and discounts are in line with the companies' policies and ensuring that the system is 100% accurate. Job responsibilities We are looking for great people who share our passion for customer service and constantly improving our service function by Ensure the accurate identification and provision of customer's needs by accurately ordering and monitoring stock levels from suppliers; Manage stock movement in the most effective and efficient way to maximise resources including stock replenishment, special orders and obsolete items; Source additional parts from outside the Retailer using the appropriate search methods; Support the accurate input of information into the Dealer Management System Review customer satisfaction results and take appropriate action to increase them Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner Regularly review key operating controls (negative stock reports, margin and volume performance) Work with other Heads of Departments to develop business strategy Ideally you will demonstrate: A background in the automotive industry, specific to Parts Departments Full, clean Driver's License as Travel is essential for this role.
