Overview

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. You’ll manage client relationships by working closely with clients to gain a deep understanding of their organisational culture and goals. In response to specific challenges, you will propose Cirrus solutions that can meet clients’ needs most effectively. This will involve collaborating with colleagues from across our business growth, consulting, digital and creative teams to present innovative solutions, designed to create deep impact. Through developing this deep understanding and identifying opportunities for new business, you will be responsible for developing revenue across your key accounts. As well as working with existing clients, you will follow up new business leads and attend meetings with new contacts. At all times, you’ll represent Cirrus in a professional, friendly and client-focused way, demonstrating your understanding of our expertise in leadership, talent and engagement and building trust in our organisation. You’ll keep up-to-date records of all your contact and business development activity across our contact database, pipeline and file sharing platform, following processes and communicating with colleagues proactively and consistently. A proven track record in a similar role as a business developer is essential You will need an understanding of leadership development, talent and engagement. In particular, you’ll need to demonstrate a wide appreciation of the leadership development market and its key drivers Strong strategic and diagnostic skills, able to understand and anticipate client needs at the organisational level Impressive communication skills – strong, clear, articulate and engaging, whether face-to-face, in writing or in a virtual environment Gravitas and ability to influence clients at board level Strong strategic and diagnostic skills, able to understand and anticipate client needs at the organisational level Client focused and able to build long term relationships with clients and colleagues based on personal credibility You are likely to have a degree. A HR or behavioural science specialism would be a bonus Flexible to travel to client meetings as required.
