Overview

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. As a member of the CA&T team, you will provide the following services to the department: Intermediate level knowledge of LIBOR, WMR and other fixes Perform Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reviews for LIBOR Surveillance activities using knowledge of Benchmarks, applicable Code of Conduct and LIBOR Waterfall methodology/expert judgement. Complete quarterly risk assessments produced within CA&T and take active part in the governance meetings Liaise with the Business to address substantive matters identified; escalate and present significant issues to senior management in a timely manner Be able to manage internal and external audit queries and implement remediation, taking into account the risk associated with the process. Complete the regular and ad-hoc tasks necessary to complete monitoring, testing and other work which makes up the department’s risk based testing programme, ensuring that appropriate analysis and evidence are documented Build relationships with the Front Office and other stakeholders Work as a team to look into escalations and investigations and offer technical/SME experience to identify potential/actual misconduct. Ensuring that re the periodic review of relevant procedures are up to date and create a new procedure where necessary Assist in the provisioning of Compliance training to the business, compliance team members within CA&T and roll out training to other compliance officers as may be requested from time to time. Assist in the preparation of management information for periodic Compliance reports to senior management and for various oversight committees Make suggestions to enhance the existing processes and develop new processes for identifying and monitoring Compliance and Conduct Risk. Ensure that the second line Compliance staff act as an independent challenge to the Front Office, escalating any concerns about breaches or law, regulation or internal policies. 2 years of experience in a Compliance Benchmarks Surveillance role Excellent knowledge of LIBOR Code of Conduct Knowledge of EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) Knowledge of Market Abuse Regulation Experience in macros and ability to amend macros Advanced Excel skills Strong understanding of Banking risks and regulations SME in Benchmark surveillance monitoring Effective time management skills, with the ability to produce high quality output and meet tight deadlines and ability to prioritise work according to urgency/risk involved Problem solving, analysis and reporting skills Broad understanding of the FCA Handbooks, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to identify and escalate issues/information that may be relevant to wider members of the team Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability A proactive, motivated approach.
