Vice President - Client and Counterparty Data Quality
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. This role provides an exciting opportunity for ownership or involvement in data remediation and process improvement priorities within Operations, contributing towards enhancing Nomuras overall data quality, whilst also improving consumer delivery and mitigating risk.The role will focus on managing the Client data teams daily tasks and strategic roadmap as well as indirectly managing the workload and tasks of the run-the-bank Entity team in Powai. This includes performance oversight, handling escalations, managing risk of data quality and continuously reviewing functions and processes within the wider team. Other responsibilities include technological issue management, representing EDM EMEA in projects and stakeholder management. Proven experience as data manager Track record in process enhancement and improvement Educated to degree level or in the absence of that have appropriate banking experience (5-10 years) Knowledge of all major asset classes: equity, fixed income, derivatives and their data characteristics Detailed knowledge of data vendors preferred ability to navigate complex data and hierarchy structures Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills
