Your new company Hays are working on behalf of a well-established consultancy who offer professional consultancy services in Quantity Surveying, Contract Consultancy and Project Management. The practice has extensive experience in the successful delivery of projects in both Public and Private Sectors including Hotels, Leisure, Offices, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Health, Education, Residential, Conservation, Civil Engineering and Public Realm works. They are accredited to ISO 9001 quality assurance and maintain the latest IT infrastructure, software and systems for fast and accurate measurement and management of projects. Due to continuous growth, they now seek an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Your new role You will have responsibility for the cost management of projects, producing bills of quantities, estimating and cost planning. You will be involved with full pre and post contract quantity surveying, attending site meetings and design briefings, alongside preparing interim valuations and site measurement. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position you should possess: A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying; 5 years experience working as a PQS; ideally MRICS status. You will have a strong ability to produce bills of quantities for building and fit-out projects. It is also essential you have the ability to manage project budgets effectively and have excellent client facing skills.
