Overview
Peace Recruitment is delighted to be assisting a long standing client in their search for a Project Director to join their North of Scotland team. You will be part of a public-private sector partnership company established to develop, fund and deliver community infrastructure projects such as schools, healthcare facilities and other public buildings. The organisation in question works directly as a Development Partner for public sectors organisations across the country. Role Overview: Reporting to the Ops Director, the Project Director will work with clients, supply chain partners and external third parties such as developers and funders to develop and deliver a number of community infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be required to lead and coordinate the activities of numerous parties in-order to develop bespoke capital and revenue funded community infrastructure projects in partnership from inception through to project delivery. Overview of Responsibilities: Identify appropriate and affordable funding solutions Coordinate feasibility studies and establish teams as required Lead teams in the development of the following: Architectural, Structural, and Services Deign to RIBA Stage 4 or equivalent Negotiate Sub-Contract Agreements with both Construction and Facilities Management Supply Chain Partners Analyse affordability and ensure the provision of value for money Ensure that proposed developments fall within the company’s remit Promote and support pipeline growth Consultant appointment, cost planning and design reviews Embedding the necessary checks and reviews to ensure the constructed facilities have the appropriate levels of quality Experience and Qualifications: Project Management or Quantity Surveying experience Knowledge of Public Sector processes would be advantageous Good commercial acumen Ideally MRICS status Strong relationship building skills Ability to lead and develop projects from inception through to completion Ability to manage innovation within a regulated environment Familiarity with the preparation of business cases and project bidding Self-motivating, with excellent communication and management skills In Return: Salary £65-75k Bonus Car allowance (circa £7k) Pension
