Lighting Director
Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Maintain studio lighting standards for all live and recorded programming. Make sure Lighting Boards and equipment are properly shut down at the end of each shift. Ensure all systems and processes are followed in the studio lighting Provide insights as to what Lighting is required or in need of repair. Coordinates lighting needs with on-duty Director to make sure studio covered for late assignments. Be prepared to work varied shift hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Excel at work within a culturally and ethnically diverse staff. Related television lighting experience - ideally in News environment. Expert knowledge of Lighting Boards and systems. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge and interest in news and current events. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Strong interpersonal skills.
