Order Manager

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Order Manager for one of our rapidly expanding clients based in Swindon. Job Purpose This is an internal, customer facing role focused entirely on 'back office' order entry activity. You will need to provide 100% order entry accuracy and will be required to liaise with all customer stakeholders including Account Managers, Production, Sales & Design teams. Key Responsibilities: To interpret and manually enter sales orders into the various order management systems as required including Furniture, Appliances & Solid Surfaces. To work to an accuracy target of 100%, ensuring care, attention to detail and a meticulous approach to transposing header and line information on to the systems. To work to the agreed entry priority list, as agreed with the Team Leader. Processing orders within 24 hours of notification. Feeding back to the Sales Team within 24 hours of the receipt of order if the order is incorrect or needs amending - Providing detailed explanation as to to why. Develop and maintain a 'how to' order entry guide for all Sales & Design teams, accounting for any variations in order entry practices to support the 100% accuracy target. Ensuring 'special' are within the company's technical ability and supplier remit whilst providing accurate cost and lead times to all Sales & Design teams prior to proceeding with an order. Work to a high pace to ensure all daily targets are met and orders are entered on time while maintaining 100% accuracy. Skill & Requirements: Attention to detail, task focus & accuracy. Drive, initiative and in-depth product knowledge. High level of communication & interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational & prioritization skills. Ability to work under pressure. Numerate & literate. Order entry experience or similar data entry is essential.
