Sales Executive £20,000 Uncapped Commission Preston My client is looking to take on a Sales Executive who has freight experience who can confidently and quickly sell their service while promoting successful customer relationships. You will be an active team member in a fast-moving environment, providing excellent Customer Service by building relationships with new and existing Customers with the aim of securing their repeat business and making you their first choice for time critical freight. The Sales Executive has to meet and exceed customers' defined needs in the area of Freight Forwarding & Logistics. Business development and Customer retention. Key Responsibilities As a Sales Executive you'll build relationships with new clients over the phone and arranging meetings. Generating new leads and prospects. Identifying and building strong relationships with potential and existing clients You'll also develop key accounts and maintain important relationships. Responding swiftly to Customer emails and telephone calls Understanding shipment requirements and how you can provide solutions. Liaising and negotiating with Suppliers to find real time express freight options at optimal market prices and using your persuasive personality and desire to win against the competition to sell these at the most favourable rates for all parties. The Candidate As a Sales Executive you need to be self motivated and have drive in your ability Work independently, as well as a part of a close knit team Previous experience in B2B Good listener with effective communication skills Understanding and reassuring telephone manner Attention to detail Disciplined and focused to give 100% to every call Reliable and motivated Ability to learn multiple systems and processes Ability to problem solve and find the solution quickly and effectively Knowledge and experience of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The salary for a Sales Executive is £20,000 with an uncapped commission structure 28 days holiday entitlement (inclusive of Bank Holidays) Government Pension Scheme Retail Discounts Scheme.
