Overview
It's always good to be involved from the start, to be able to shape something and to put your own stamp on things. And you can't really do that if you're joining to far down the line. This company is a national wealth management firm, they have a great rep in the market and are a name people recognise and have trust in. They are launching a new investment proposition, something brand new to the market and they need someone to help put it out there and build business around it. The product as been tested internally for the last 5 years, it works well, is proven and mean you can go and talk with IFA's and intermediaries with confidence. But this is more than just a pure sales role. They want someone to shape things as well. You'll be on the ground talking to your network, and your feedback will be used to shape how it's taken to market and what direction to go in. And so, as it grows, you'll be in prime position to build a team around you. What do you need to do this? Great sales and networking skills are a must, as is previous experience selling into IFA's and intermediaries. You'll have a very strong understanding of investments and will be able to talk knowledgeably on this with senior stakeholders.
