EMEA Sales Development Manager Job Type: Permanent (full-time) Location: West London Start date: As soon as possible Salary: up to £60,000 bonus and benefits We are looking for an energetic, creative sales management professional with 2 years of experience directly managing a team. You will utilise your passion for developing and growing a team to truly make an impact. You must have experience of working within a global Sales Development team with a proven successful commercial track record, while also possessing people management acumen (hiring/recruiting/coaching/training). You must have an innate ability to motivate and inspire a team to both meet and exceed targets within a fast-paced sales environment. This role requires a passion for setting and hitting targets while keeping an extreme focus on the development of the team members. This individual must have history of building strong successful teams that deliver results. Amongst others, some of your main responsibilities will be: Manage employee performance assessment, career planning and development, and goal setting. Expand the skills of the team from a focus on compliances to a new set of value solutions. Build, manage, mentor, recruit, train, and retain a Business Development team. Develop lasting relationships with key stakeholders while uncovering performance marketing opportunities. Develop and achieve quarterly and annual forecasts and plans. Maintain and improve a successful and positive culture that is evidenced by high employee morale and low turnover. Define and report on metrics to measure the performance of the Sales Development activities. Collaborate with Marketing on Sales Development involvement in Account-Based Marketing campaigns. Help build a fun, high-energy environment where people love coming to work. Skills and experience required: Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) Ambitious personality with a demonstrated track record of success Bachelor's degree educated Previous experience within a Software, Pharmaceutical, Life Science/BioTech, or Supply Chain is a plus. A commercial mindset with an appreciation of data and analytics Strategic thinker with an ability to execute Proven track record of recruiting, growing, hiring, mentoring, developing a new business development team. Familiar with various sales methodologies (e.g. Challenger & Sales tools) and CRM's (Salesforce & Marketo). Not afraid of challenging the status quo Experience in performance management
