The brand was created due to an identification of a gap in the market where the invisible barriers that ethnic minorities had to deal with in order to shine, and work three times as hard just to be seen, this was clearly apparent in corporate settings and in entrepreneurship. In short, the online brand consists of a podcast which discusses diversity, inclusion, and aspects surrounding this, for people in both corporate and entrepreneur settings. The brand also has a paid membership and social channels, including instagram, facebook and pinterest. Even though MBM is aimed at women of colour it is not exclusive to only this demographic. This platform stands to empower and serve as a reason and purpose to keep growing despite your race or age. The brand aim's to touch and change the lives of many. Requirements Experience building content strategies A talented writer capable of switching tone and voice depending on the audience and message Ability to write strong SEO content without sacrificing quality An understanding of how to build authentic credibility through thought leadership Commercially-minded with a understanding of lead generation and the importance of building relationships our audience Enjoys working in a start-up environment Flexible and committed Is able to think out of the box and forge new ways of making great content that has a clear business impact Responsibilities Build and manage a content strategy that positions MBM as a thought leader Optimise content to achieve SEO goals Work with CEO and wider team to develop and maintain marketing goals Maintain editorial governance to ensure consistency across the organisation Develop and drive content marketing KPIs and ongoing optimisations that drive growth This position is remote based, in other words, you could do this from your home.
