Shelter are recruiting for charity fundraisers to join their door to door sales teams in Glasgow on a full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity work directly for a charity and to raise vital funds for an amazing cause Role: Door to Door Fundraiser Charity: Shelter Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 2pm-9pm Pay: £9-13 per hour Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support and legal services. They campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help. Last year, Shelter provided support to 36,000 households - to halt evictions, rehome families, and improve conditions. We are looking for passionate, dynamic and driven individuals who are passionate about social change to represent Shelter as paid, professional door to door fundraisers. The Role: As a door to door fundraiser, you will head out each day with the team to a different residential areas in Glasgow. You will be engaging in conversations with members of the public over their doorsteps and building rapport with them. You will be inspiring people to join Shelter as an ongoing supporter through a direct debit donation. A fundraising/sales role at Shelter not only defends the most vulnerable within society but also equips successful applicants with skills needed for various roles in multiple sector’s moving forward.
