Overview

The client is an established Top 20 University set in the heart of Surrey. Description Identify new prospects and plan to deliver a targeted approach to new and existing donors Develop and implement and individual relationship development plan to secure significant donations from individual donors Establish long term relationships and evolve donor interest in the Universities ambitions Lead on securing significant donations, as well as support and teach the wider team to share knowledge and ownership Conduct research to identify prospects, ensuring all research is in accordance with relevant internal policies and external legislation Be recognised as an expert in the team in relation to knowledge and understanding of the Universities major donors and potential prospects Foster strong networks across the academic community and professional services at all levels Recognised within external relationships, marketing and communications as having extensive knowledge of the universities ambitions and history Be an active member of the wider external relationships group and marketing communications directorate Profile Experienced with securing donations of more than £5,000 in a single pledge from individuals, as well as securing repeat donations Using data, creativity and knowledge of organisation and what it stands for Carrying out research into donors and marrying those with an organisation's needs Evidence of building long term relationships from cold Working as part of an integrated marketing and communications team Ability to use and analyse data Excellent communication skills Detailed knowledge of relationship management Job Offer Competitive salary
