Overview

Objective of the position: The role of Account Manager focuses mainly on providing customers with assistance aimed at selling rooms directly through the hotel booking system. The purpose of this role is to identify and manage sales opportunities through the information available, build relationships with our customers in Italy and understand their needs and requirements, provide advice to the hotel on allotment, supply and demand, with the aim of supporting the increase in direct bookings. Main responsibilities Proactively establish relationships with existing customers in order to sell through the booking system; Examine their work and key performance indicators with the aim of planning future company development activities, while ensuring the achievement of financial objectives; On a monthly basis, carry out sales assessments and reports on the activities carried out; Support the hotel in the development of a demand management strategy; Price comparison and competition analysis; Provide the hotel with information and advice by phone and email, including follow-up. Skills: Connect with the decision-maker of the client company in the most appropriate way, through the establishment of solid commercial relationships; Identify further and future opportunities; Short-term planning ability (1-3 months) aimed at immediately achieving the objectives set; Ensure that each department completes the assigned projects as planned, identifying and proposing solutions / changes aimed at improving the project completion process; Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, in order to analyse and manage the large volume of data available; Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both in person and by telephone. About the candidate Requirements: Degree or qualification of equivalent level or proven experience, demonstrable in terms of achieving the set objectives, within a business context; Fluent in Italian and English; Excellent written and oral communication skills, combined with excellent interpersonal skills; Proven achievement and exceeding of set goals and expectations; Excellent organizational skills and particular problem solving skills; Motivated and flexible in order to work with minimal supervision.
