Overview

Solutions Lead We are seeking a Solutions Lead to focus on prospective client Propositions and work with the senior deal pursuit team. Experience working in Financial Services a must. Ideally you will have experience in: Outsourcing or Managed Services : Detailed understanding of outsource operations in BPO with capability to create operational solutions from end to end. Value Proposition Creation: Ability to create a compelling value proposition that is aligned to customer buyer values. In addition a proven track record in translating solutions and value propositions into clear, well-articulated client facing proposals. Deal Shaping: Ensuring the proposition meets the client’s needs, maintaining control of the financial model, developing appropriate commercial mechanisms for each service, designing risk and reward mechanisms. Deal Leadership: Experience in planning and executing deal win strategies, driving sales effort through to successful contract signature. Business Negotiation : Experience in business negotiations, responsible for leading negotiation teams during contracting, drafting and structuring of complex IT, outsourcing or consulting agreements. Stakeholder Management : Ability to build strong and purposeful client relationships to develop value propositions, and structure contracts around parties’ requirements. Programme Management : Strong personnel and project management: day-to-day management of deal teams, co-ordinating and aligning all activities across business development workstreams, providing key point of client contact. You will have: Strong written and oral presentation skills including delivering client presentations and written bid submissions. This is a key skill and it is extremely important to be able to bring together a variety of materials and thoughts and articulate a clear concise commercial solution from a business, technology and sector point of view. The ability to fully understand the client’s industry and market sector(s) and gain an appreciation of the business drivers, constraints and challenges in these markets. An ability to develop a competitive cost case/model that enables quality delivery, develop compelling and differentiated value proposition; Draft and deliver proposals and sales presentations and Coordinate with sales leaders, delivery leaders, technology partners, and other internal functions required to deliver the commercial solution. Degree level education or other Post graduate qualification, (or ongoing study) Role / Responsibilities: Deal origination, sales development and closure . Working closely with existing and new clients, to drive year-on-year revenue growth on deals ranging between £1.5m-£10m ACV. Strategy implementation and sales planning . Working closely with the Group Ex-Co and BDD to implement the sales strategy to hit their growth targets. Proposal writing and pricing strategy . Supported by SMEs/Solution Architects and Bid Management, gathering requirements and presenting appropriate solutions to clients. Writing compelling proposals for clients which clearly articulate our differentiators, key win themes and compelling pricing and deal structures. Marketing . Networking across the businesses client base to identify new opportunities and key decision makers to sell further products and services. Actively promoting the businesses product offering as a thought leader in industry events, conferences, focus groups etc. Collaboration . Working closely with operations, marketing, and other colleagues across the group to ensure solutions presented to clients are workable. Degree level education or other Post graduate qualification, (or ongoing study). Strong on detail and the ability to multi-task. Ability to change and adapt when the client, market or business requires. Resilience and determination to succeed under pressure. Evidence of being in a high profile, high pressure role where delivering sustainable and profitable growth are key. Strong people skills and communication. A leader and master communicator that results in powerful levels of persuasion. Experienced in working in a matrix sales environment, that requires working with other sales teams across multiple product and service lines. Speed - ability to build credibility quickly.
